Video Secrets has unveiled the first phase of updates to make Flirt 4 Free and all the white label sites on the Video Secrets network compatible with iOS devices such as iPhone (News - Alert), iPod and iPad.

The chat and video system updates enable all users to stream high quality live video and chat without the need for any additional plugins. The entire user interface was recreated and optimized for the hand-held experience. The positioning of key elements in the chat interface will update smoothly when switching from portrait to landscape orientations and the HTML5 document has a small footprint to ensure fast loading and room-switching.

Video Secrets’ affiliates are already taking advantage of the new compatibility without any additional work. All white label templates were updated to support the HTML5-based video and chat delivery that is based on browser-detection so Webmasters do not need to segment their traffic.

In the next phase, the company is expected to add the ability for 1-on-1 and multi-user paid shows on hand-held devices as well as extensions to other device manufactures and operating systems. The next compatibility updates is scheduled for January 2013.
