Notify Technology, a provider of enterprise mobility solutions, and PeopleCube, a provider of intelligent workplace, resource and energy management technology, have announced that NotifyLink for Meeting Maker now supports the Apple (News - Alert) iPhone 3G and all iPhones and iPod touch devices upgraded with the new iPhone 2.0.
Offering greater mobile e-mail and Meeting Maker calendar access to iPhone (News - Alert) and iPod touch users, the NotifyLink Enterprise Edition for Meeting Maker will extend the functionality of the iPhone and iPod touch to include support for the wireless synchronization of e-mail and Meeting Maker calendar, personal address book, and global address book.
According to their specific environments, Meeting Maker customers can choose either NotifyLink On-Premise or NotifyLink On-Demand. Companies or enterprises that want to maintain and support their wireless e-mail and PIM synchronization on site will find the NotifyLink Enterprise Edition on-premise version ideal for their purposes. Also, companies or enterprises of all sizes wanting to avoid the maintenance and support of an on-premise solution and still deploy any number of wireless devices can opt for the NotifyLink Enterprise Edition “On-Demand” version, hosted by Notify.
PeopleCube says the company is very excited about support for the iPhone and iPod touch with Meeting Maker. The ability to access e-mail and calendars remotely can be a huge competitive advantage in today’s working environment. By enabling Meeting Maker calendar users to access and manage their calendar and e-mail from their iPhone, iPod touch or other mobile device, NotifyLink for Meeting Maker facilitates that advantage. The NotifyLink Enterprise Edition for Meeting Maker supporting the iPhone and iPod touch will be available the week of August 11.
“We are excited to announce our NotifyLink Enterprise Edition for Meeting Maker now supports the new iPhone 3G and iPod touch. We are now able to offer Meeting Maker business, government, and educational customers with a push wireless email and PIM synchronization solution that will meet their needs,” said Paul DePond, president and founder of Notify Technology.
“Since the initial release of the iPhone last year, the Meeting Maker customer demand for supporting these devices with our NotifyLink Enterprise Edition has continued to escalate. Meeting Maker customers will be able to choose between our NotifyLink On-Premise or NotifyLink On-Demand versions for their specific environments,” DePond explained.
