Welcome to the Week in Review, where we take a look at all the top stories making headlines in IP PBX .
The week started off with some exciting news from Onlime. Many countries in Africa don’t have IP communications at the moment, which has left them behind when compared to the rest of the world. However, thanks to Onlime, Sierra Leone will be receiving an all-new VoIP service for the first time. TMC’s Frank Griffin writes, “The company's enterprise VoIP solution will offer business customers an IP PBX (News - Alert) and desk phone platform with professional grade services.” You can find out all the features being brought to the country HERE.
Next up, Aculab recently unveiled its new ApplianX AP Gateway (News - Alert). What sets this gateway apart from others, though, is that it can play host to communications applications from third parties. It also does DPNSS, QSIG and SIP interworking, along with many other functions. As a result, users can support legacy and IP-based call functionality. Find out more HERE.
Meanwhile, Evox Trading turned to Oculeus this week for its Capture wholesale voice solution, in the hopes of driving better service, improving its own operations and driving more users into the field. Since Evox offers services for both Tier One and Tier Two telecommunications service providers, among others who are dependent on IP PBX systems and similar tools for everyday operations, having Captura in the fold could be an addition that really boosts Evox's capabilities. You can keep reading HERE.
Finally, the week rounded out with some insight from small businesses in Georgia. We’ve already established that VoIP and IP PBX services can be game-changers for any business in a variety of ways. However, for some, the proof is in the pudding. That’s why it’s important to highlight when specific businesses find success with VoIP, and that’s exactly the case for several businesses in the Atlanta and greater-Georgia areas. Find out how these companies are benefiting HERE.
While a variety of topics have been highlighted here, that’s certainly not all that went on this week. Be sure to head to the IP PBX homepage for all the updates, and come back next week for the latest insights. Have a great weekend!
