Welcome to the Week in Review, where we take a look at all the top stories making headlines in IP PBX this week.

The week started off with some exciting insights from Voxbone (News - Alert). In preparation for ITEXPO, TMC caught up with Dries Plasman, VP of Product Management at Voxbone, to discuss the company’s successes over the past year, and its predictions for the future. During the interview, Plasman focused heavily on VoIP and where the technology could be headed in the future. You can find all the insights HERE.

Next up, the news broke that Broadvoice recently modified its lineup of mobile tools to be Apple (News - Alert)-native. This decision ultimately makes it easier for iOS mobile device users to better incorporate Broadvoice tools into their working days. Now, Broadvoice’s IP PBX (News - Alert) apps are easily accessible, making it simple to access office communications capabilities no matter where an employee is located. To find out more about this convenient decision, click HERE.

AltiGen Communications continued the trend of bringing IP PBX and VoIP capabilities to more businesses and people this week. The company recently started working with Virginia’s Village Bank, an eight-branch bank operating out of Midlothian. The bank chose AltiGen to help it connect all eight branches together and to also provide a bit of backup to the system in case of temporary outages. TMC’s (News - Alert) Steve Anderson has everything you need to know HERE.

Finally, the week rounded out with the news that Verizon (News - Alert), like AltiGen, has been working to bring VoIP capabilities to more businesses. Ahold USA and Verizon joined forces recently to bring VoIP and IP PBX services to Ahold USA stores in an attempt to make smarter stores that can easily meet customer and employee needs. Just the addition of better phones alone has improved Ahold USA operations, and Verizon certainly brought more to the table than that. Find out more HERE.

While a variety of topics have been highlighted here, that’s certainly not all that went on this week. Be sure to head to the IP PBX homepage for all the updates, and come back next week for the latest insights. Have a great weekend!
