To strengthen its existing interoperability partnership with Epygi (News - Alert) Technologies, snom technology AG’s 7xx series of desktop IP phones are now interoperable with Epygi Technologies’ full line of Quadro IP PBX (News - Alert) products. Epygi Quadro IP PBXs customers can now auto provision the snom 710, 720 and 760 endpoints and enjoy quick and easy installation and hassle-free management directly from the PBX.

The snom 7xx series will be the latest addition to other existing snom models that are currently certified with the Epygi Quadro IP PBX portfolio: the snom 300, snom 320, snom 370, snom 821and snom 870 desktop phones; the snom M9 cordless DECT (News - Alert) handset; the snom Meeting Point conference phone; and the snom PA1 public announcement system.

“Epygi’s interoperability with the snom 7xx series reinforces Epygi and snom’s long-standing interoperability partnership,” says Epygi CEO Mario Cuello (News - Alert). “The pairing of our IP PBX systems with snom’s new series of business phones provides resellers and end-customers alike with an affordable and feature-rich telephony solution.”

Interoperability of the snom 7xx series phones with Epygi Quadro IP PBXs will provide small and medium-size businesses (SMBs) with a complete and affordable end-to-end voice solution. Value-added resellers (VAR) will appreciate seamless auto provisioning and quick deployment with Epygi Quadro. Epygi customers will be able to access snom’s newest family of desktop phones, available for a variety of price points and features to meet any business requirement and budget.

“The snom 7xx series meets the needs of businesses looking for reliable, high functioning, stylish VoIP phones,” said Dr. Michael Knieling (News - Alert), snom technology chief operating officer, in a statement. “Our ongoing commitment to interoperability with Epygi blends snom’s ‘best-of-breed’ SIP endpoints with Epygi’s award-winning IP PBX family, creating a value driven, telephony solution for businesses and resellers.”

Equipped with the snom’s eighth-generation Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) firmware, snom 7xx series VoIP telephones allows interoperability with a wide variety of SIP-based IP PBXs and softswitches used in small and large office environments worldwide.

Recently, snom’s UC edition IP phones were qualified for Microsoft Lync, offering businesses with the largest and most complete portfolio for full-featured, standards-based IP desktop phones, fully compatible and interoperable with Microsoft Lync Server 2010.
