Yealink Plans Several New Releases for February

January 25, 2016

New products are the lifeblood of any technology business; without new material for customers, the product line grows stale and vulnerable to any motivated competitor. Yealink (News - Alert) seems to understand this well, and plans some new releases ready for unveiling in just a couple weeks.

Yealink will be not only be demonstrating three new tools in its videoconferencing line, but also its first Cloud Deployment Server system. While at the Integrated Systems Europe 2016 show, Yealink will show off the new VC110 endpoint system, as well as the T49G video phone, and is new VC soft client for mobile video users. The VC110 is geared toward the growing “huddle room” market, allowing companies to bring in video conferencing tools for small groups meeting in smaller rooms.

That's something of an improvement over earlier developments, geared toward a larger conference room market that had dedicated conference rooms. The T49G, meanwhile, is a desktop system that brings video chatting to the more stationary worker. The VC soft client seems to be its mobile equivalent. Lastly, Yealink's Cloud Deployment Server will also hit the show, where it will receive its global debut. Those who put Yealink tools to work often find same to be both simple to work with and flexible in function, allowing users to get plenty of utility, even in less-than-ideal environments like those with poor network infrastructure or few directly-available IT resources.

Those interested in seeing what else Yealink has on hand can check that out immediately; Yealink is a Platinum Sponsor of ITEXPO, and its product line can be seen at Booth #604 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale from January 25 – 28. There will be plenty of other companies on hand to see as well, and several keynote addresses and panels will offer insight into the direction of technology on several fronts.

Yealink has made a lot of advancements in unified communications (UC), and its exhibition patterns display this advancement well. Last year at the same show, Yealink unveiled both its VC400 for the head office meeting room and its VC120 for the more medium-sized meeting room. Now, Yealink seems to be moving to accommodate the needs of a more mobile workforce, bringing out tools for use at the desktop level, mobile level, and even at the smaller meeting room level, the huddle room. Fresh product will certainly help Yealink reach more potential customers, and given the mobile workforce is likely a growth market, it should ultimately prove a positive boost to Yealink's bottom line currently and down the line.

Yealink has never been a slouch in development, and these new products should demonstrate that clearly to anyone who's watching. Those looking for the necessary communications tools to keep a mobile workforce connected, meanwhile, should be among those watching.
