BroadSoft (News - Alert), an innovator in cloud communication, collaboration and contact center solutions for businesses and service providers, is a good company to be associated with. According to Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert)—another name worth trusting—BroadSoft has a dominant 41 percent market share in the fast-growing cloud-based UC sector. Needless to say, BroadSoft is trusted and has a lot of influence, making it an ideal company to do business with. That’s Apivio’s plan, which is why the company has announced that its Dexter Series of IP desk phones has completed BroadSoft interoperability testing.
The Dexter Series now works with BroadSoft, Inc.’s BroadWorks SIP interface, which is great for Apivio because it can now sell the Dexter line to BroadSoft channel partners. That means Apivio now has access to many more telecom service provider customers, resellers and integrators. The best part is that Apivio isn’t going in blind, and these other companies likely know and trust Apivio because it already has other solutions working with BroadSoft. Apivio’s Monet UT880 Android (News - Alert) desk phone and Liberty L2 are already interoperable with BroadSoft BroadWorks call control platform, making the Dexter series its third successful product.
Needless to say, Apivio is excited to add another system to its list of products that are interoperable with BroadSoft: “We are very pleased that our Dexter series of products has completed BroadSoft interoperability testing to join their network of global service providers,” stated Rob Bakshi, President and CEO of Apivio Systems Inc. “Joining the UT880 and the L2, the Dexter series rounds out our product offering to BroadSoft service providers and dealers whose end customers seek top-tier communication equipment. By having all three of our product lines successfully interoperable and available to BroadSoft channel partners, we are able to meet the unique needs of any end-user while growing our own distribution network significantly.”
Apivio's Dexter series of IP desk phones offers high quality office voice communication across three major device SKUs, from the entry level IP330 to the newest addition to the Dexter family, the IP700. The Dexter series of desk phones is compatible with standard SIP, the IP336 and IP700. It offers support for HD Voice and the IP700, featuring Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and interoperation with Moimstone Unified Communication. Thanks to the product’s new interoperability, Apivio is able to offer the Dexter series to more potential customers, including telecom operators and other channel partners that either sell or deploy BroadSoft-compliant equipment.
As if interoperability isn’t enough, Apivio will also be exhibiting at the annual BroadSoft Connections conference in San Antonio, Texas from November 13 to 15, where it will introduce the UT880 desktop phone. So, not only does Apivio have more credibility now that it is associated with BroadSoft, it will also be making itself known to hundreds of BroadSoft service provider customers, as well as industry leaders and market influencers. Those in attendance will get to meet the team at Apivio in person, and see the products BroadSoft now works with.
