Resellers of the SkySwitch solution can now order and provision Yealink (News - Alert) products right from the company’s portal. This capability was revealed at the Vectors 2017 User Conference.

SkySwitch is able to deliver this in partnership with 888VoIP, an ITEXPO platinum sponsor. The latter company drop ships the phones to end users. Those phones are fully configured, include individual user credentials, and offer plug-and-play connectivity to the SkySwitch network.

“This partnership with 888VoIP gives our resellers a great advantage when deploying Yealink products for use as part of a SkySwitch solution,” said Skyswitch President and founder Eric Hernaez (News - Alert). “Resellers can now select, order, provision and ship these products from a single screen within the SkySwitch Reseller Portal.”

SkySwitch offers hosted white-label services that enable interconnects, resellers, and VARs to transition more easily from selling traditional PBXs to extensive cloud-based UC solutions. It’s a complete solution partners can manage as if they own the switch, but SkySwitch is in the background taking care of all the details.

SkySwitch put together its solution by integrating existing offerings in the market. For example, it leverages NetSapien technology for the PBX (News - Alert) component. In addition to PBX functionality, the SkySwitch platform for cloud communications includes billing and CRM, customer onboarding, DID management, E911, SIP session control, and Web conferencing functionality. All of the above can be accessed via a single dashboard.

SkySwitch also provides its partners and end users with a network that is geo-redundant. When a customer registers on the network, the network automatically finds the switch closest to that customer, and the switch then connects to that customer. However, if that switch goes down or the connection is less than ideal, the SkySwitch solution will automatically move the customer to another switch.

Business communications and networks will be the focus of the upcoming Communications 20/20 event. This TMC (News - Alert) event will run July 18 through 20 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. For more information, click here.
