Anyone familiar with the IP Phone (News - Alert) space knows the name Grandstream Networks. Marcatel is located in Mexico, and has the largest network in the country. Thanks to this new partnership, Grandstream’s products will now be available to that network. The agreement has certified all Grandstream IP Phones and IP PBX (News - Alert) with Marcatel’s comprehensive voice, video, data and cloud service offerings. As a result, customers throughout Mexico can now utilize Grandstream’s IP phones and IP PBXs to build and deploy communication networks using Marcatel’s service offerings.

Grandstream manufactures 19 different IP phones, ensuring that each type of user has an option that’s applicable to their unique scenario. Under this new partnership, Marcatel customers can choose from the GXP1600 series of Basic IP phones, the GXP1700 series of Mid-Range IP phones, the GXP2100 series of High-End IP phones, the DP series of DECT (News - Alert) Cordless IP phones, the GXV series of IP Video Phones for Android and the GAC2500 Conference Phone.

But that’s not all, folks. Marcatel has also certified Grandstream’s UCM series of IP PBXs for use with its service offerings. This is quite the win for Marcatel customers, as these IP PBXs provide a full suite of communication features with no licensing fees or costs per feature. With access to these products, Marcatel customers will be able to build enterprise-grade unified communication networks for one or many facilities, with the ability to manage and connect multiple locations on one central IP PBX.

Separately, both companies were powerhouses in their fields. Now that they’ve come together, Marcatel customers are sure to be in for a treat.
