NVERZION provides the tools that make digital broadcasting and television station automation and offers advancements in broadcasting by controlling the equipment that acquires and distributes broadcast grade content through its progressive software solutions.
"Our experience with NVerzion, their products and their customer service has always been superior," said Tom Driggers, Director of Engineering for KAIL. "This contract was for more than a simple add-on; we were expanding and completely redesigning the entire facility with all new equipment. NVerzion's ATP gives us the redundant nearline storage and complete automation we need to accommodate our requirements now while still providing us room to grow in the future. It was a natural choice for us to select NVerzion again."
It is said that the contract was finalized mainly because NVerzion’ tools were being used by KAIL in previous occasions and they know about NVerzion’ customer service excellence and product/solution satisfaction.
KAIL's new automated station includes NVerzion's NControl Package with dub station software, two event On-Air playlists, redundant database, NTime event scheduler, Pathfire interface, NPoint segmenter, traffic interface, status and monitoring utility/auto-failover module, a redundant EMC (

"We designed the ATP to provide KAIL with total redundancy, including all software applications, database, and device controllers," said Reed Haslam, Director of Sales for NVerzion. "To accommodate the large file size requirements of their HD programming, the NVerzion TeraStore and XPANSION file management system was added to ensure complete storage management. Then of course, we sent a team to KAIL for final installation and commissioning."
KAIL will also make use of the Utah Scientific Serial Digital/High-Definition Video and Audio routing

system. It has SD/HD SqueezeMax devices attached to it to provide program squeeze functionality, text crawls and internal logo generator.
