Alert)´s “T-City” project in Friedrichshafen within the coming months.
The T-City project aims to improve the quality of life for T-City citizens by implementing IT and telecommunications projects involving new technology and applications that are relevant to various aspects of city life.
Alcatel-Lucent is an exclusive premium partner providing products and technologies and supporting the implementation of project ideas with its technical know-how on service development and introduction.
The portal is geared to enable the integration of local content, including video and news and will enable IPTV (
News -
Alert) users to interact with this content through the rating of videos, participation in games, and receipt of information via advertising banners.
The 5930 Interactive Media Manager (IMM) product suite is marketed as a “ready-to-deploy, end-to-end solution for delivering interactive television services across any platform (IPTV, digital satellite, digital cable, digital terrestrial, PC and mobile).” It is comprised of cost-effective applications and tools that help with creation, management, and distribution of revenue-generating interactive applications, including interactive advertising, enhanced TV, sponsorship, portals, and participation TV. Three key modules within the suite include the 5930 Interactive Media Manager (IMM), 5930 Interactive Media Gallery (IMG), and 5930 Interactive Media Response (IMR). The IMM provides improved service for all Alcatel-Lucent supported IPTV platforms and helps customers to monetize existing infrastructures.
