Cold Storage Software has announced that its Network Attached Storage (NAS) Operating System, StorageZone OS, has received the Good Software Certification given by the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA).
Dominic Mak, Managing Director of Cold Storage said, “We are proud of being one of the few NAS operating systems achieving the Good Software Certification. Only 3 percent of the applicants pass the stringent certification process in their first attempt, we are proud to be one of those.”
“It usually takes four to five rounds for a product to get the certification. It is a testimony to our well designed product development process and to our pursuit for excellence.”
The Telecommunication Technology Association (TTA) is an organization involved with IT standardization and tests and provides certifications for IT related products. After testing, TTA offers the Good Software Certification which denotes that the software has met all requirements as specified by the Quality Certification Standards of Software.
TTA employed several parameters and measures for testing the functionalities of the StorageZone besides reviewing the quality of the software as per regulations.
StorageZone OS is a NAS operating system which is embedded in all Cold Storage NAS products. The StorageZone OS was developed by Cold Storage and is designed for multimedia applications like IPTV

which need optimum I/O performance besides digital video services.
StorageZone OS is equipped with several high availability and data resiliency features apart from a comprehensive management console that allows lowering of operation costs and also enhances business continuity.
