In an alliance that’s meant to reach the nation’s most populous demographic, AmericanLife TV Network announced today that it’s entered into a strategic cross-promotion partnership with BOOMj, Inc.
According to BOOMj.com, the 41- to 64-year-old group represents nearly two-thirds of all income in the nation, and accounts for more than one-third of all Web users.
The partnership between the two companies is intended to yield marketing and promotion initiatives with ALN and BOOMj.com, including cross-promotions, program-streaming video, 30-second promo spots and shared subscriber promotions, the company said.
“AmericanLife TV is excited about this partnership and the great opportunities it will offer to our audience,” said Larry Meli, the cable network’s chief operating officer. “BOOMj.com targets our key demographic and shares our vision for socially responsible family-friendly entertainment for Baby Boomers and their families.”
AmericanLife TV Network delivers classic TV, lifestyle, original and socially responsible programming that addresses compelling issues important to today’s mature audience, the company said.
ALN offers video on demand and broadband programming, according to the company.

BOOMj, Inc., is a Web-based niche social network and e-commerce site serving more than 78 million people in the 41 to 64 age group.
BOOMj officials say their company provides an integrated and highly focused community that incorporates personalized social networking, online shopping, travel deals, video programming and breaking headline news in: health, finance, politics lifestyle and entertainment.
