With Amino’s AmiNET130, service providers can cost-effectively deliver end-to-end digital High Definition (HD) TV. Following the successful completion of both lab and field trials, the AmiNET130 is now deemed fully compatible with Minerva’s iTVManager 3.x platform.
Deployed by more than 120 operators worldwide, iTVManager is a comprehensive software solution used for the delivery and management of a variety of television services, including high-definition TV (HDTV), digital video recording (DVR), video-on-demand (VOD), music, games, and communication applications.
Chief Operating Officer for Minerva Networks, Jean-Georges Fritsch, said in a statement that the certification process ensures that high-quality products, like the AmiNET130, can be easily integrated with their platform. She added that operators can deploy IPTV (

have worked together to deliver fully-tested, carrier-class solutions.
Noting the certification process brings huge benefit to both Amino and the end-user, Rick Sailor, VP Sales Americas for Amino, explained that a STB which has achieved and maintained this certification generates more confidence than one that has only been unit tested. “The AmiNET130 has been proven to be compatible with Minerva’s middleware, helping ensure a robust and reliable service,” he added.
