TVU Networks, a global service, will announce the availability of end-to-end content delivery platform with advanced security for live Internet TV broadcasting.
There are 300 channels and 18 million viewers to make use of its downloadable TVUPlayer. TVUPlayer application has been downloaded 12 million times, and has presence in over 200 countries. Cartoon Network from Turner Broadcasting and ANTV from News Corp (

Alert). are channels not available through traditional distribution.
TVU networks provides a free global live TV service that can be watched on Windows PC over a broadband Internet connection. This service brings TV that can't be accessed from cable or satellite, such as news and sports from around the world.
TVU Networks offers a cost-effective solution for broadcasters and content owners to reach out to global viewers with an unlimited channel capacity and at a low broadcasting cost. TVU solution has a full suite of effective monetization capabilities like geo-filtering, subscription services and personalized in-stream ad insertion tools. The TVU service is bundled into all HP Pavilion consumer laptops.
TVU incorporates a new broadcast technology known as Real-Time Packet Replication. With this technology, the viewers can watch any channel with the best possible signal. TVU's application does not create new files on the hard disk as it is live TV.
TVU's broadcasters do not need to dedicate more bandwidth for each additional user, compared to typical Internet video broadcasts using the older streaming technology. This allows broadcasters to reach large numbers of viewers. TVU can have an unlimited number of channels. Viewers can become broadcasters using TVU networks' free broadcast application. This application, with a PC and a broadband Internet connection, lets anybody become a broadcaster. This allows any number of viewers across the world to watch the channel.
