An announcement from SwedishVegas stated that they are going to make use of Wi-Fi

TV to bring in the idea of social networking to their global restaurants. For the first time in the restaurant industry, the SwedishVegas restaurants will be providing live video conferencing with their own Internet TV.
The Wi-Fi TV is a web site on the Internet to watch hundreds of TV stations and chat with others watching the same program in a live chat box directly under the viewing screen. Users can also receive breaking news for each country and category listed, download a free dialer and make phone calls, and host live video parties all on one Web site.
Under its brand names SwedishVegas and ItAllHappens, the company sells merchandise such as t-shirts, jackets, mugs and other items. It has a wide-ranging plan to launch a series of themed eateries with an extensive beer and wine menu, along with reasonably priced lunches, dinners and appetizers aimed at initial locations in Las Vegas, Beijing, and Dubai.
"We are putting together a world class team to deliver the next great story in restaurants and branding, with SwedishVegas Girls hostesses, flat panel screens with sports, beach scenes and interactive Internet video with SwedishVegas customers and fans. We are taking the business of restaurants into the age of the Internet," said Van Holster, acting CEO of SwedishVegas.
"As a Board member of Wi-Fi TV Inc. for the past ten years, I knew that Wi-Fi TV would be well suited to helping make SwedishVegas the premier restaurant in the age of the Internet. As Acting CEO of SwedishVegas, I am proud to know that SwedishVegas will benefit from the global Internet TV platform of Wi-Fi TV as we set out to build a global brand to compete with successful branded theme restaurants like Hooters," Mr. Holster added.
SwedishVegas is offering a sneak preview of its website plans in their site SwedishVegasPreview and to bring Interactive TV to its restaurant chains it has entered into an agreement paying $50,000 down on a $100,000 initial contract with Wi-Fi TV.
The company will also be hosting live and web events as part of its SwedishVegas Summer promotion.
