Winnov LP, a provider of video and rich media communications hardware, along with
Qumu, a company engaged in
enterprise video communications, has entered into a partnership to deliver a new product for customers using video across the enterprise.
The joint video solution, Capture Studio, combines Winnov’s Cbox 3 rich media recording appliance with the Qumu Video Control Center, which centrally manages video content and distributes video across the network.
The new joint solution simplifies how customers can create, manage and distribute digital video presentations.
The solution also allows teams to capture and contribute video content on their own, avoiding the need to rely on technical video experts.
“Our joint solution with Winnov adds tremendous value to customers who are already using video to improve their quality of communications,” said Scott Safe, vice president of product strategy and marketing at Qumu.
“Capture Studio eliminates the need for expensive professional media services, and enables management teams to communicate via video at the click of a button,” added Safe.
Qumu, a major player in Enterprise Video Communications (EVC), enables organizations to easily capture, manage, publish and distribute live and on-demand video content.
The company provides a single Web-based software solution that seamlessly manages all video applications, and leverages existing video, storage and distribution hardware and software infrastructure.
“Partnering with Qumu allows us to deliver a new enterprise-class solution for our customers,” said Olivier Garbe, CEO of Winnov.
“By joining efforts, we continue to lead the charge on capturing the entire experience and now we can also offer our customers the capability to securely manage video and distribute it across the network. We’ve combined the most advanced technology in rich media recording & webcasting with the most robust digital content management software to revolutionize the way businesses communicate,” explained Garbe.
