Qumu now leverages the strength of Cisco's WAAS platform with advanced enterprise digital media applications that facilitates businesses to have scaleable, secure, compliance-based use of streaming media and video on demand.
The collaboration of Qumu and Cisco has also facilitated video communications to be easily captured, managed, published and then distributed securely - through Cisco WAAS and ACNS network services.

Qumu seamlessly manages all video applications by enabling a single web services based software solution. It also leverages existing video, storage and distribution hardware and software infrastructure as well.

Qumu's open solution supports leading codecs, enterprise portals, and video conferencing systems from multiple vendors. It also supports multiple distribution architectures, including simultaneous support of Cisco WAAS, Application and Content Networking Services (ACNS), and Internet CDNs from AT&T (

Qumu's open solution, which is a market tested solution with major installations at various companies, is also said to be a reliable video distribution platform that is utilized for live streaming and on-demand optimization.
