RRsat Global Communications Network Ltd., a supplier of complete content management and global distribution services to the television and radio broadcasting industries, announced that Eric Larsen, who has recently been hired as senior director of Sales for RRsat America, will also be responsible for developing strong business relationships with major US media organizations. Larsen will also be in charge of increasing the exposure and awareness of RRsat throughout the North American market.
Eric Larsen, based out of Los Angeles, joined RRsat with more than twenty-five years of experience in the international television industry, special focus on content aggregation and distribution, marketing, production and operations. Before his appointment at RRsat, Larsen was the senior director of Key Accounts for Intelsat (News - Alert) Corporation. He was responsible for providing strategic account management for most of Intelsat's premier North American customers, and also secured one of the largest contracts for his company.
