Private Media Group Inc., a global leader in the finest-quality adult entertainment products, has expanded its agreement with Free, its long time IPTV partner in France. Free also offers Internet services in France. The expanded agreement will give the Private Media Group (PMG (News - Alert)) complete coverage across France using Free's distribution platform that includes free-to-air TV channels, catch-up services, and PVR. This will increase the exposure of PMG’s products and in turn increase the revenues.
In a release, Berth Milton, CEO and chairman of the Private Media Group, said that, "We have enjoyed a long, prosperous relationship with Free helping further strengthen our position throughout France as the leading adult brand and choice for consumers. Combining Free's comprehensive platform and loyal user base with Private's high-quality content and strong brand recognition, we expect this expanded agreement will generate substantial profit going forward."
In other news, Private Media Group, Inc. recently announced that the VOD library of its subsidiary GameLink is now available for viewing on Apple (News - Alert) TV. GameLink's library of over 15,000 titles are already available to watch on Apple devices, but the option to view them on Apple TV is now possible due to Apple's recent OS upgrade to iOS4.3 for iPhones, iPads and iPod touches. This upgrade allows users to redirect content streaming from those devices to their Apple TV.
