iTV Manager Interactive Platform Updated by Ensequence

Audio detection capabilities have been included in Ensequence’s (News - Alert) award-winning, cloud-based iTV Manager interactive platform. Consumers across multiple platforms can be therefore engaged by programmers, advertising agencies and brands with these capabilities. A more immersive viewing experience is provided with these enhanced content experiences. Tune-in, ratings and advertising effectiveness will therefore increase.


Surfing the Internet and watching TV is simultaneously done by nearly two-thirds of Americans. Tablets and smartphones are also used by nearly forty percent of the device owners while watching TV. This information has been provided by Nielsen research. Content owners can more deeply engage with today's multi-tasking media consumer by using Ensequence's cloud-based software. Content owners’ uniquely branded iOS and Android (News - Alert) apps are incorporated with automatic content recognition or ACR capabilities for the same. The TV content and advertisements being consumed in today's digital living rooms are detected by these apps. Related content on tablets and smartphones is then instantaneously served up by the apps.

In a release, Peter Low, President and CEO of Ensequence, said, "We know that consumers aren't always engaged with content that is directly related to shows and commercials when they are on their tablets and smartphones -- they are on e-mail, surfing for unrelated content and on social networking sites."

According to Low, all of the best elements of TV content on viewers' televisions are being synchronized by Ensequence with the viewers’ tablets and smartphones. This is possible with the latest updates to the company’s interactive platform. Deeply engaging show and advertising-related content are therefore delivered.

Programmers and advertisers can drive consumer engagement in a simple manner with the iTV Manager Programmer Edition from Ensequence. The consumer engagement can be driven across as many digital platforms and as many networks, shows and ads as per the needs of the programmers and advertisers. An increase in revenue is therefore possible.

The rapid creation, management and deployment of a high volume of uniquely branded, video-rich experiences are enabled with iTV Manager.
