Entone Deploys IPTV for Sunrise Communications

Sunrise Communications has chosen Entone has as its set-top box partner for the deployment of advanced IPTV (News - Alert) services.

Entone, Inc. is a provider of hybrid TV and connected home solutions and has powered the deployment of IPTV and hybrid TV services to hundreds of global operators.

The company will now help position Sunrise Communications, a private telecom provider in Switzerland, for growth and continue delivering differentiating services.

Sunrise provides premium residential and business services that include fiber-based broadband Internet, mobile solutions, advanced IP services and wireline telephony.

Entone is experiencing strong growth in Europe and has begun to support similar hybrid TV services in the United States. The company was in news last year when Valley Telephone Cooperative, Inc. (VTCI) picked the FusionTV solution from Entone, to power the delivery of its hybrid TV services.
