Next New Networks Commemorates its Billion Views

Next New Networks, an independent producer of online television networks, creates, packages, brands, markets and syndicates some of the Web's most popular regularly scheduled and episodic programming.

 
It announced that since its inception in March 2007, it has reached one billion views and has planned to commemorate this event.
 
The Web series powerhouse, home to hit shows now serves more than 65 million viewers per month across its networks of original series. These shows have integrated themselves into the popular culture and Internet memes.
 
Interestingly enough, these shows include pop star parodies, recreating blockbuster special effects and even presidential crushes. With more than 50 shows and 25 branded networks, Next New networks has done a splendid job in entertaining the public.
 
So enamored is the audience that they visit YouTube (News - Alert), iTunes, Twitter and other social media sites to get the latest updates and the views of the over 2 million subscribers. Writing blogs and reading up on opinions and views is just another aspect, which enthralls the subscribers.
 
No wonder then that the Next New Networks' series have taken home a total of 10 Webby Awards since 2007. That they are regarded as the biggest winners of all times in the awards' 14 year history of honoring excellence on the Internet speaks volumes for itself.
 
The recent milestone that Next New Networks has achieved only further buttresses its position as a leader in online entertainment. Another feather that it has in its cap is the fact that it has produced more than 8000 episodes, each one generating an average lifetime audience of 125,000 views. This approximately 1250 percent more than the average online video.
 
'It's been an amazing ride to the billionth view. Our producers, advertisers, talent, team, and of course our fans, have been invaluable in making this milestone possible in three short years,' Lance Podell, CEO of Next New Networks, said.
 
Podell indicated that the number of people watching online video has increased tremendously, so much so, that less people are watching the TV. Next New Networks has played an important part in this tremendous change. Armed with a billion views , the media company is anticipating fostering the next-gen of video talent and introducing the new brands to the eager public.
 
To commemorate the billionth view, Next New Networks launched a site, which features some of the company's most popular episodes. In addition it has also launched a poster that can be downloaded for free.
