New Digital Service Launched by Top Rank in Collaboration with NeuLion

A new digital service for boxing fans around the world has been announced by Top Rank, Inc. in collaboration with NeuLion (News - Alert), Inc. Top Rank is a top global company in sports promotions. Live and on-demand international, sports and variety programming are delivered through broadband by NeuLion, an end-to-end IPTV (News - Alert) service provider.

The Las Vegas-based Top Rank is also a provider of boxing related content. Some of the sport's all-time greats have been presented by Top Rank for nearly 50 years. Fans of Top Rank will now have access to an all-new website. This will be provided in collaboration with NeuLion. A branded video portal with lingual support, an iPhone (News - Alert) App and a mobile web site will also be provided to the fans.

Features have been customized for the sleek video services. Fight coverage, pre fight weigh-ins, highlights, post fight news conferences, editorial, photos, and e-commerce are some of the features included. Fans on-the-go can also be connected with its iPhone app and mobile website which is powered by NeuLion. The Top Rank iPhone App is available for fee at the Apple (News - Alert) iTunes App Store.

In a release, Todd duBoef, president of Top Rank said, "We looked at a number of new technology providers and felt that NeuLion's platform and architecture allowed us to provide the fans with a ringside seat on any consumer device."

A complete digital platform will be provided by NeuLion. This will aid in monetizing digital advertising, e-commerce and other digital services. Boxing fans will be able to access current and real time content from Top Rank on their mobile devices and PCs with these services.

End-to-end solutions for multimedia IPTV services are developed by NeuLion by working together with content partners. Media/broadband business of other premier sports organizations like the NHL, NFP and MLS are supported by NeuLion.
