NetMotion Wireless to License Mocana NanoCrypto for Android

Mocana, a provider of smart device security, announced that NetMotion Wireless has licensed Mocana NanoCrypto software to provide FIPS-validated cryptographic functionality for its Mobility Mobile VPN.
"Providing our Mobile VPN for the Android platform is critical to our success in both existing and new markets. Mocana provides us with a code-ready solution that avoids a lengthy validation process, speeding up our time-to-market with an Android version of our product," said John Knopf, Product Group Director for NetMotion Wireless, in a release.
"We are excited to have NetMotion Wireless join our roster of distinguished technology companies that rely on Mocana to provide the essential cryptographic engines required for today's innovative mobile apps," said Kurt Stammberger, CISSP and vice president of market development at Mocana.
The Mocana NanoCrypto product is a, government-certified cryptographic engine purpose built for resource constrained mobile and embedded systems environments.
Mocana provides a device-independent security platform.
