Public Safety Agencies Select Tiburon for Their Next Generation Technology Needs

announced that several public safety agencies have recently selected
Tiburon for their next generation automation needs. These agencies
include Cherokee County, South Carolina, Cherokee County, Georgia,
Barnstable County, Massachusetts, the Idaho State Police and Mercer
County, New Jersey. In addition, the country of Chile has renewed
their existing commitment to Tiburon's DispatchNow solution for an
additional 5 years.
The Idaho State Police and Cherokee County, Georgia E-911 selected to
upgrade their existing Tiburon system to the newest version of
Tiburon's TotalCommand. Barnstable County and Mercer County selected
Tiburon's DispatchNow CAD software in a traditional on-premises
deployment while Cherokee County, South Carolina joined the growing
revolution in government IT by deploying their DispatchNow in a
secure-cloud computing environment.
By choosing to deploy DispatchNow in the cloud, the County was not
required to purchase expensive computer servers nor expend precious
IT resources on configuring and maintaining the hardware and network
infrastructure. The subscription pricing model for DispatchNow also
means the County did not have to come up with a large capital budget
for the initial license, installation and implementation costs -
instead they pay a low annual subscription fee to use the software.
The County expects to see thousands of dollars of cost savings each
year that will pay for the DispatchNow solution over the term of the
agreement.
