Acclaim Telecom Services Now Boasts PCI Compliance Certification

By Jamie Epstein, TMCnet Web Editor

Acclaim Telecom Services, an IVR application development and IVR hosting solutions company, has just received certification of PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) for Service Providers. This certification is part of an ongoing enhancement process to the Acclaim IVR/Telecom hosted solutions and cloud computing offerings, a press release stated.

Acclaim Telecom also offers speech-enabled IVR solutions and mobile application services. Acclaim Telecom has over 15 years of industry expertise that help to fully support any IVR project.

“Our clients trust us with processing very sensitive data; their client’s personal credit card information,” said James Davis, president of Acclaim Telecom Services. “Keeping this sensitive data secure is just one of the strategic services we offer our customers. We have worked hard to achieve PCI (News - Alert) Compliance and look forward to providing services to clients that require PCI compliance and enhanced data security.“

Acclaim Telecom Services is one of very few full-service IVR/Speech hosting providers that have achieved PCI Compliance Certification. The PCI Security Standards Council was founded by American Express (News - Alert), Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa International. The council was created in order to develop, enhance and help with enforcing payment account security.

In related news, Acclaim Telecom Services at the end of April, released a new Mobile IVR Solution that the company claims will help businesses increase customer touch-points by offering an interactive experience for smart-phone users. This newly introduced mobile platform will help to seamlessly integrate mobile applications into the web and IVR based technologies across mobile devices, President of Acclaim Telecom Services James Davis said in a statement.
