eVoice, a leading virtual phone service from j2 Global (News
- Alert) Communications, announced the launch of a mobile websit:e http://mobile.evoice.com.
eVoice (News - Alert) enables small businesses to manage calls like a big business with local or toll-free phone numbers. It provides features such as call routing, screening and recording; virtual receptionist and personal attendant features; and voicemail transcription as text messages.
A recent survey conducted by eVoice has found that seventy percent of respondents used their mobile telephone most frequently to conduct business.
Another report, "Smartphone Adoption and Usage" by Aaron Smith and released by Pew (News - Alert) Internet & American Life Project, finds that one quarter of cell phone owners are now using their smartphones as the primary way they access the Internet. Among these users, 68 percent said they use their mobile device for Internet or e-mail on a typical day.
As the demand grew, eVoice witnessed heavy traffic to its website over the past few years. The mobile access to the eVoice Web site has increased by more than 30 times from 2009 to 2010 and continues to grow rapidly in 2011.
With the demand for mobile access increasing, eVoice has developed http://mobile.evoice.com to make it appealing to small businesses.
The website now has shortened and simplified sign-up process that makes it faster and easier to create an account. The simplified FAQ section is further improved with Help section that gives more information to customers.
The website is also provided with an easy "one button" access to download the eVoice mobile app, allowing customers to quickly access eVoice while on the go.
Mike Pugh, vice president, marketing of j2 Global Communications, said, “The new eVoice mobile Web site is just one of the ways that we are responding to the needs of our customers by providing faster and more efficient ways for them to conduct business anywhere, anytime.”
Earlier in April, j2 Global Communications announced the launch of http://www.j2.com, a new Web site that makes it easy for businesses and individuals to learn about, and sign up for, the company's suite of premium brands.
