Text2Pay Launches Widget for Android Users to Make Mobile Payments
Mobile payment company Text2Pay has unveiled a new widget for Android (News - Alert) phone users. Developers can integrate this payment option directly into an Android application with no hassles.
Titled Tap2Pay, the payment service does not require credit card details, user login or third-party registration, it is as simple as accepting the payment and having the purchase added to the user's phone bill.
The transaction is not only safe and secure, but is completed within 10 seconds.
The mobile payment firm stated that Tap2Pay offers all the benefits of service including a solution with coverage in over 70 countries. The widget supports transactions in 60 currencies and 49 languages.
With Tap2Pay, developers can charge their users for premium application features or virtual credits. When the user chooses what to buy, the developer makes one simple call to start the transaction and the user confirms this with a single tap on their mobile phone.
The service gets activated once Tap2Pay is integrated into the mobile developer's application. Moreover, Tap2Pay offers single tap purchasing through carrier billing, built-in support for one-off and subscription items along with virtual currency and virtual goods transactions.
Text2Pay’s solutions are all about enabling people to pay for goods online using their cell phone with the purchase coming off their phone bill.
The growing dependency on mobile phones has significantly influenced the widespread consumer adoption of mobile payments. According to reports, consumer adoption of mobile payments is rising and the service is expected to reach US$245b in value, worldwide by 2014.
