Varolii Corporation (News - Alert), a provider of cloud-based proactive customer interaction management solutions, announced that TMC, an integrated media company, has honored the company with the Customer Interaction Solutions 2011 Speech Technology Excellence Award.
TMC recognized Varolii for its Progressive Engagement suite, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) solution that assists organizations to enroll patients and members into healthcare programs and engage them to influence behaviors and positively impact health.

A Varolii press release said through the 2011 Speech Technology Excellence Award, TMC is recognizing companies who have made significant contributions to improving speech applications for their clients and offer clients a competitive edge in the market.
"Winning this award for two consecutive years validates Varolii's commitment to helping businesses improve customer and patient interactions," said Andrea Austin, vice president of healthcare business at Varolii. "The single largest cause of preventable morbidity is lack of patient adherence to prescribed therapies and recommended self-care.”
