Acrobits Releases Voice and Video App with SmoothFlow Technology for Apple's iPhone
Acrobits, a software development company with a focus on VoIP Clients for mobile platforms, has launched a new combined Voice and Video application for Apple’s (News - Alert) iPhone.
The new application is embedded with SmoothFlow person-to-person video technology that eliminates the ‘choppy effect’ of video calls over smart phones, smoothing out the participants’ movements during the call just like playing a movie. It operates by leveraging the tools within the smart phone.
Officials said that the new application gives a tough fight to Facetime and Skype (News - Alert) as it operates across both leading smart mobile platforms and on any NGN telecommunications network.
There are two versions of the Voice and Video applications available; one for the consumer market and one in a fully featured business phone application. Both the apps are loaded with features such as HD Sound, Phone (News - Alert) book integration and Avatar Dialing.
Possibility for the consumers is wide as they can choose from hundreds of pre-configured VoIP carriers across the world. The Groundwire business application works with both closed and open source office IP-PBX platforms such as Cisco, Avaya (News - Alert) and Asterisk.
In a release, Nadahl Shocair the longtime telecommunications industry expert and Executive Advisor to Acrobits stated, “Our unique and ubiquitous solutions spell the end for both the home cordless phone and business desk telephone categories as carriers and PBX vendors can now simply provide subscribers with a highly featured OEM Mobile Application that integrates and delivers into their subscribers’ hands the full suite of services such as Voice, Video, IVR and Unified.”
In related news, iscoord, an independent and privately owned company has launched Is-Phone 3.0 Mobile VoIP App on iTunes.
