Alteryx Packages Critical Data in Alteryx Strategic Analytics 7.1 Platform

Alteryx, Inc., a provider of Strategic Analytics, has announced a partnership with Experian Marketing Services, TomTom (News - Alert) and Dun & Bradstreet. Through the partnership, Alteryx will become the only Business Intelligence vendor to put together a comprehensive set of packaged or syndicated data that offers deep insight into customer household and market data. Alteryx Strategic Analytics is an Agile (News - Alert) BI and analytics solution designed for Data Artisans and business leaders that brings together the market knowledge, location insight and business intelligence required by any of the today’s organizations.


The Alteryx Strategic Analytics 7.1 packages critical data from the 2010 Census, Experian Marketing Services, Dun & Bradstreet (News - Alert) and TomTom. With the wide range of data availability, the Alteryx Strategic Analytics 7.1 platform allows business and data analysts and data artisans to provide greater context around five key areas of content: demographics, firmographics, segmentation, spatial and population data.

The Alteryx Strategic Analytics 7.1 platform includes Experian Marketing Services, which contains the latest Experian household data, Mosaic segmentation and the Simmons Consumer Research file, delivering greater demographic and segmentation information to every customer. The platform also serves the client with TomTom spatial and location data that comes with Geocoding, drive time engine and U.S. mailing data offering customers with a deep understanding of location and geospatial aspects of their business. Through comprehensive D&B firmographic information, Alteryx offers commercial information and insight on businesses. Users can have access to sales volume, employee counts, line of business details, latitude/longitude fields for mapping purposes and other relevant business information. Alteryx’s new platform also includes the U.S. Census 2010 data.

In a press release, George Mathew, president and chief operating officer, Alteryx, said, “Strategic Analytics requires the Data Artisans to have intimate knowledge of their customers and the business. No other software provider packages this valuable content and allows you to bring it alive by combining it with your internal data. Thus, we enable data to be more accessible, more human, to deliver informed analytic decisions.”

Alteryx was recently in news when the company partnered with Kognitio. As per the agreement, Kognitio Analytic Platform will offer data connectivity for Alteryx Strategic Analytics.
