Informatica Corporation, a provider of data integration and knowledge management software, has just announced the availability of its Informatica Cloud MDM offering with improved capabilities for Cloud Data Integration and Master Data Management (MDM).
Thanks to the technologies obtained through the acquisition of Data Scout Solutions Group Limited, the new Informatica Cloud MDM helps organizations improve sales, service and marketing efficiencies through enhanced customer information for Salesforce.com (News - Alert) customers.
“With the acquisition of Data Scout and the availability of Informatica Cloud MDM, we accelerated our roadmap to deliver the cleansing, matching, de-duplication and enrichment technology required to gain the greatest value from these data assets,” said Girish Pancha, chief product officer, Informatica, in a statement.
The knowledge management solution helps organizations pull customer data from enterprise applications, cloud applications and third-party data providers for business and IT, enabling them to gain a 360-degree view of their clients in order to stay a step ahead of the competition.
Informatica Cloud MDM also manages and displays a consolidated view of customer hierarchies across multiple instances of Salesforce and other enterprise systems, giving customer-facing teams a single, accurate view of the value of each customer relationship.
The solution furthermore enables better lead conversion, customer targeting and cross-sell outcomes. Available as a native Force.com solution, Informatica Cloud MDM is fully integrated with salesforce.com and deployed in the cloud, meaning organizations are not required to install additional hardware or software.
In general, Informatica Cloud MDM helps organizations to cleanse, standardize and enrich customer information, ensuring that data stays clean and reliable at all times. Customer information is augmented with additional data from third-party data providers such as Bloomberg (News - Alert), data.com and Thomson Reuters. The solution also eliminates and prevents duplicate and inconsistent data.
Informatica Cloud data integration was honored by salesforce.com customers for the fourth year in a row with the AppExchange Best of Award for Integration for providing broad connectivity to other cloud and on-premise systems including SAP, Oracle and NetSuite (News - Alert).
