Gartner (News - Alert) has named Ciber one of the Visionaries for SAP Application Management Service Providers, Worldwide. In the recently released Magic Quadrant report, Ciber, along with fourteen providers, were positioned in the Visionaries quadrant.

In a statement, analysts at Gartner said, "Gartner evaluates service providers on their ability to execute and their completeness of vision in regard to worldwide SAP (News - Alert) application management services. Vendors positioned in the Visionaries Quadrant articulate important market trends and direction."

According to Michael Schmidt, Worldwide Practice Lead for Managed Services at Ciber, the organization’s long-standing association with SAP has been echoed by the positioning in the Magic Quadrant. This positioning also highlights the organization’s dedication to SAPR offerings and familiarity in supervising client SAP offerings.

"We believe it also confirms our transformation from being a services and implementation company to being a full-service provider of Managed Services through our global delivery centers in Freiburg, Germany; Bangalore, India; and eight other locations,” said Schmidt. “We've fine-tuned our expertise in the Managed Services arena to cover the whole lifecycle of SAP applications and even have industry-specific offerings for utilities, manufacturing and retail organizations, process industries, as well as consumer goods companies."

According to the analysts at Gartner, all the vendors that were evaluated were involved in development schemes with SAP, either for latest products, services and/or markets. A few of the vendors were also working in close association with SAP at SAP’s development centers.

Apart from encompassing several worldwide associations with SAP, all the vendors have been honored with several awards in the last couple of years, mainly for their services, capabilities, projects, definite client activities or accomplishments.
