With the integration of Klout influence scores within the Crimson Hexagon ForSight platform, the customers will be able to better understand the impact of marketing and business programs with key individuals in social media.
Crimson Hexagon, a provider of social media analytics software that delivers business intelligence to global corporations, has made the announcement about the partnership with Klout.
Now, Klout scores are a standard component of the ForSight platform. These scores measure a user's influence across his or her social networks like Twitter, Facebook, and Google (News - Alert)+. The Klout Score is calculated from the reactions (retweets, messages, likes, and comments) you generate from your content.
Matthew Thomson, vice president of Business Development at Klout, said in a statement, “Partnering with Crimson Hexagon to help brands better identify and understand their most influential users makes perfect sense, On top of being among the most intelligent social media analytics platforms for consumer brand marketers, Crimson Hexagon is used by entertainment clients who are increasingly looking at Klout scores as a factor in making casting and hiring decisions. We really look forward to seeing how customers of all kinds use this influence data to fine-tune their social media marketing strategies.”
Now, adding Klout scores into the Crimson Hexagon ForSight platform, the company is able to offer customers with the industry’s best-known and most dynamic influencer scoring system. The Klout algorithm analyzes more than 12 billion data points each day across key social media networks, as well as several off-line influence factors.
“Integrating Klout with our social media analytics platform gives customers across a variety of industry segments, including media and entertainment, global consumer brands and digital marketing agencies, a well-established method for influencer scoring and the ability to better understand the impact of marketing and business programs with key online influencers. Customers can then make meaningful decisions based on that data,” said Crimson Hexagon president, Curt Bloom. “We’re excited about the work we’re doing together and look forward to continued success.”
