DMP's President and CEO Recognized By the SLMA

The Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA) has recognized Debra da Costa, President and CEO of Direct Marketing Partners (DMP) among the 20 Women to Watch in Sales Lead Management.

DMP is a 20-year provider of B2B lead generation services, specializing in the IT industry for Fortune 500 and SMB companies. The company notes that da Costa, a trailblazer in B2B lead generation, was also named to the 50 Most Influential list in Sales Lead Management in 2010.


Da Costa founded DMP in 1991 to create a company truly responsive to the individual needs of its clients. She ensured that her company had the expertise required by corporations with worldwide interests.

Also, the company was of a size that allowed close project participation by all the firm's senior staff.

She led DMP to provide marketing campaigns which generate sales leads of superior quality. In addition to driving revenue, this gave return on investment for global clients.

The Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA) provides best practices for marketing and sales management so that the marketing dollars put at risk have a predictable rate of return.

"The Sales Lead Management Association established this award to recognize the contributions of women in the critical field of managing sales leads," said James W. Obermayer, SLMA's executive director. Nominees were judged by an industry panel based on contributions from a marketing, sales and sales lead management standpoint.

Back in 2009, DMP was honored by the Direct Marketing Association with the Echo Award in the Information Technology segment for its client, Anritsu (News - Alert) Corporation.
