Website bookings help drive growth [Derby Evening Telegraph (England)]
(Derby Evening Telegraph (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A VAN hire firm is on course to double its sales for the year. Northgate Vehicle Hire, which has a base in Alfreton Road, Derby, said it was likely to achieve revenues of Pounds 4.4 million, thanks mainly to a 312% increase in website bookings. The firm said that its revamped retail hire division has also helped boost its fortunes. Marketing manager Jonathan Pearce said: "We relaunched our retail hire offering in January and, since then, it has gone through the roof.
"We're all set to be 100% up on the last financial year and can only anticipate further growth in this area as we approach 2013."
