Law Firm Forms New Telecom Law Center Group on LinkedIn

By Jacqueline Lee, Contributing Writer

Telecoms need a forum to discuss business and legal issues where they can learn best practices and address common concerns. To meet this need, the Technology Law Group has created a new LinkedIn (News - Alert) Group called “Telecom Law Center,” which its attorneys will manage and facilitate.

Members of the group, in addition to joining the discussion, will be eligible for a free review of their telecom agreements or free consultations from Technology Law Group on any issues of concern. In addition, membership grants access to a number of intellectual property and telecom articles written by the law group.

“The purpose of the Telecom Law Center is to provide members of the telecom channel with ready access to a community of peers and experienced telecom counsel who can provide them with practical and timely advice as to the best practices to solve a wide range of problems,” said Neil S. Ende, the managing partner of Technology Law Group. “We intend to make the Telecom Law Center the ‘go to’ place for problem solving in the telecom channel.”

The Telecom Law Center will join some other popular telecom groups on LinkedIn including Telecom Executives Business Network, Telecom & Mobile VAS Professionals Worldwide and Wireless Telecommunications Worldwide.

Telecom employees and executives can find groups on LinkedIn by hovering their cursor over the “Groups” icon at the top of their profile pages. On the dropdown menu, users can simply select “Groups Directory’ and then either browse groups or search for groups.

In addition, users can find groups on LinkedIn by searching through the “Groups You May Like” feature.

Once users find a group, they can either join the group on the group’s discussion page or respond to an invitation from a group member. Some group moderators review requests to join or ask for additional information to make sure that potential members meet group criteria.
