Legal processes are always long drawn out affairs and clients are often frustrated with the delays. In addition to being time consuming, legal matters are always costly and the longer it takes, the more clients have to pay.
Realizing this, Precise Inc., known for its e-Discovery solutions and trial support services, is furthering its offerings with the addition of Lateral Data’s Viewpoint platform as a hosted solution to better deliver on clients' needs, helping more law firms and corporate legal teams achieve optimal results in a shorter time.
Lateral Data, a Xerox company, will make available its Viewpoint Assisted Review tool as part of Precises' standard workflow process at no additional cost to users, and will reportedly help accelerated document review through automation, ensuring quality and consistency in document review.
As a result, Precise clients will now be armed with the ability to centralize all e-discovery functions and streamline workflow using a single platform, giving users the flexibility they need.
Clients' e-discovery projects can thus be managed in a more comprehensive, integrative manner as the Viewpoint review tool is built on scalable technology.
“Clients are very interested in taking advantage of this innovative technology to move through the review process faster and more efficiently, especially for high-volume matters that would otherwise require significant resources, time and budget,” added Mansmann.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer Viewpoint’s robust assisted review tool as part of our standard workflow,” said Peter Mansmann, CEO at Precise Inc., in a statement.
With the assisted review tool, Viewpoint claims to have succeeded in overcoming the limitations of traditional manual review methods that required integration of different tools and transfer of data between all of them. It will replace several software products which are currently being used to do the same job.
Dean Kuhlmann, vice president of business development at Lateral Data observed that the addition of Precise Inc., to the Viewpoint partner network will help to further extend the company's national footprint.
