Secure mobile communication provider, CellTrust (News - Alert) Corporation has today formed an advisory board made up of experts and thought leaders from sectors including healthcare, financial services and telecommunications. The role of this board, called the CellTrust Advisory Board, is to provide industry and consumer insights to help CellTrust develop its next generation of secure mobile communications solutions.
"CellTrust has a seasoned and experienced team of executives and employees, and now we are adding expertise and guidance from leaders outside the company, to play a part in our next stage of growth," said Sean Moshir, CEO and chairman of CellTrust Corporation. "The new board will expand the insights we gain from the industry sectors that CellTrust serves, and ensure that the next generation of secure mobile products and services we deliver meet the unique needs of the healthcare, financial services and telecommunications industries and the consumers they serve."
Charter members of the board include Dr. Bart M. Demaerschalk, professor of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona; Dr. Robert Greenes, chair of the Department of Biomedical Informatics (News - Alert) at Arizona State University; Dr. Tony Hashemian, assistant dean for Global Oral Health, A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health; and Alex Sion, president of Movenbank.
Members of the CellTrust Advisory Board are to provide insight into critical issues and matters of concern within specific industries and geographic regions, while sharing information about regulations, policies and initiatives relating to secure mobile information management and influencing new products, services program and strategies.
In November, CellTrust Corporation was named Innovator of the Year in the Arizona Technology Council's Governor's Celebration of Innovation Awards, Small Company category. The Governor's Celebration of Innovation is the Arizona Technology Council's annual awards program, which honors technology leaders and innovators in the state.
In October, the company introduced an open text messaging platform meant to promote the importance of oral health for children.
