Lateral Data Introduces The Viewpoint Certification Program

Lateral Data recently announced the introduction of the Viewpoint Certification Program, which has been designed to help its expanding customer base include Viewpoint expertise and knowledge within their own e-discovery projects and provides the same for their own clients. Established in 2003, Lateral Data was acquired by Xerox Corporation in July 2012.

In a statement, Ramiro Gonzalez, director of Training for Lateral Data, said that, “We are committed to working with our partners and clients to ensure that their professionals are qualified and that they have both the infrastructure and in-depth experience to optimize the use of Viewpoint. With the launch of the program, not only can we provide better support to our clients, but their investments in people, process, and technology are validated.”

Organizations such as law firms as well as service providers, corporate clients, and their employees, can go through the Viewpoint certification program. A Viewpoint-certified organization will have the necessary infrastructure, experience, and expertise essential for providing best in class service over the use of Viewpoint. Individual certifications will ensure that e-discovery professionals heading Viewpoint projects have the required knowledge of Viewpoint’s capabilities within the areas of sales, processing administration, and review and analytics administration.

Viewpoint delivers improved functionality within a single platform to handle the different phases of the e-discovery process which ranges from collection, pre-processing – processing, early case assessment (ECA); to analytics, review, and production. As a single solution, Viewpoint mitigates the need for investing in and integrating multiple e-discovery products.
