Chatwing, a free live chat application for any webpage online, has augmented the experience of online bloggers by introducing a new version of its free chat widget, Shoutbox. The tool not only accommodates up to 600 users, but integrates with social media.
Useful for aspiring bloggers, the new chat tool gives bloggers an interactive element to their blogs. This facility provides them with the ability to communicate with subscribers in real time.
Apart from making the blogs active, the new version of Shoutbox turns the blog into an interesting chatting lounge where people can discuss various topics.

Users of Shoutbox can also integrate social media with Chatwing, as it is deeply compatible with platforms like Facebook (News - Alert) and Twitter. This allows users to login to the Chatwing chatbox through multiple external accounts.
According to Chatwing, the latest version of Shoutbox is faster, more stable and installable in just seconds.
ChatWing currently works on any website that supports iframe, and does not require Flash installation to function properly. Supported platforms include Tumblr, Blogspot, TypePad, LiveJournal, Wix, Weebly, WetPaint, ESPN (News - Alert) Fantasy Sports League Sites, Bligoo, WebNode, Lefora, Jimdo and more.
Interested users can download and install Chatwing from the website for free along with the iframe plugin to start using the application. Users are required to register a new account. Once registered, they will be able to customize the chat box.
After configuring the appearance of the widget, users can retrieve a specific HTML code and embed it onto the Website.
According to a news release, the company’s developers also plan to upgrade the user capacity of the shout box to 1000. With this, more users can chat effectively and make new friends.
The Chatwing team will also tweak the widget in line with this upgrade so that it can maintain its connection speed over large periods of time.
