Nimbuzz, who has been collaborating with Nokia (News - Alert), recently announced that the free Nimbuzz Messenger app will now be available for all Nokia Lumia and Windows Phone smartphones. Nimbuzz Messenger provides users with free SMS messaging and group instant messaging, and supports picture sharing among other benefits.

Nimbuzz (News - Alert) is a specialist provider of free PC to mobile calling solutions and has one of the fastest-growing mobile instant messaging applications. The rapidly growing mobile messenger app which has proved to be a big hit with Nokia Store users will be extended to all Nokia Lumia consumers, through the Windows Phone Marketplace. Leveraging the new free messenger app, users will be able to chat with their friends on Facebook (News - Alert), Gtalk, Yahoo Messenger, and even on Live Messenger (MSN), at no charge.

Nearly 180,000 new users download Nimbuzz on a daily basis and on an average spend two-and-a-half hours communicating through the mobile app every day.
