- Alert) iPhone and Android phones are based on its new HipLink Notification Protocol (HNP). The apps can operate over both Wi-Fi and cellular networks and based on network availability the apps can switch networks.
With HNP, users can get to enjoy 256 bit encryption, full two-way messaging and real-time text message delivery to Android (News - Alert) and iOS devices. And HipLink Mobile provides advanced paging software and SMS text messaging software with a suite of features for encrypted SMS, overriding phones setting for emergency messages, one click response, mobile alert sending and more.
For managing their devices remotely, users can leverage the newly released Advanced Remote Device Management control panel from HipLink.
The ability of HNP to switch networks seamlessly is beneficial in areas like hospitals and large utilities where disruption or unavailability of cellular communications can be hazardous.
Pamela LaPine, CEO at HipLink commented, “We are delighted to offer new enhancements that help our clients perform their jobs flawlessly, and potentially, may help to save lives, and increase safety to the emergency staff that uses our product. The applications and possibilities for using HipLink satisfy needs for HIPAA compliance for healthcare, heightened security for government agencies and enterprise at large.”
HipLink claimed that it integrates seamlessly into an existing infrastructure to get users’ systems up and running quickly. Its powerful permission engine allows HipLink to be deployed securely across an entire organization and its modular architecture allows users to add functionality and capacity as their business needs grow and evolve.
Recently, HipLink deployed new module for RF Two-Tone radio paging direct from CAD and HipLink was licensed by Toronto Police Services for Comprehensive Emergency Alerts.
