One of the best things about an industry trade show – and especially ITXPO, now underway in Ft. Lauderdale – is the opportunity to see the latest and greatest from high-end manufacturers.

This year’s show is no exception. Sennheiser, a leading provider of premium headsets and speakerphone solutions, has announced it will be conducting live demonstrations of its unified communications product line at ITEXPO (News - Alert) all week. ITEXPO runs now through Thursday at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

At Booth #635, Sennheiser will be demonstrating the newly-launched Culture Plus headset, a Skype (News - Alert) for Business-certified, wired model designed to help companies facilitate a transition to a unified communications (UC) environment. The company will also be showcasing its OfficeRunner DECT (News - Alert) (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) headset, available exclusively through Headsets.com. The unit features Sennheiser’s ActiveGard noise cancellation in either binaural or monaural version, and allows users to travel as far as 400 feet from their workstations while still maintaining audio quality.

“ITEXPO is an exciting opportunity for us to convene with decision-makers from across the telecommunications industry,” said Bill Whearty, VP of sales and marketing, Americas, Sennheiser Electronic Corp. "It is an outstanding forum to demonstrate how integral high quality audio is to the effectiveness of a unified communications deployment,” he added.

Sennheiser is one of the world's leading manufacturers of headphones, microphones and wireless transmission systems. Based near Hanover, Germany, Sennheiser operates its own production facilities in Germany, Ireland and the U.S., and is active in more than 50 countries. All headsets in Sennheiser’s contact center and office (CC&O) portfolio are certified for Skype for Business, along with many other leading global Unified Communications (News - Alert) providers, boasting an extensive set of characteristics such as noise cancellation, superior voice intelligibility, long-wearing comfort and market-leading durability.
