AINEO, Mitel Combine the Cloud Resources

Although its presence is not common in the web pages of TMC (News - Alert), AINEO Networks holds a national presence like many of the giants that do grace that online space. AINEO stands as one of Japan’s largest telecommunications companies. It provides many international businesses with communications services and desk phones; its presence in call centers and business headquarters gives it a spot in almost all of the enterprise relations that take place in Japan and Korea.

AINEO’s latest announcement concerns its ongoing relationship with Mitel (News - Alert), an international communications company that produces the MiCloud platform that can host the types of services AINEO seeks to offer. Back in 2013, the pair announced that AINEO would become an authorized distributor of Mitel products – a relationship starter that has led to the present day. Now, the AINEO iPBX Hosting service will combine with MiCloud to offer enterprise customers better access to cloud-based applications.

Spencer Wolfe (News - Alert), the managing director of AINEO, has more on this latest collaborative effort:

“Powered by the Mitel cloud platform, iPBX Hosting will be expanded to include hundreds of thousands of users,” Wolfe said. “Our partner clients are eager to begin enjoying a more seamless experience as they empower their sales personnel with mobile-first technology that simplifies communications and collaboration and integrates with key CRM applications.”

The benefits of this combination effort will be on display this week at the Work-style Innovation Expo, a display and conversation about the changing nature of action in the workplace. Where companies once held onto their local servers and old methods of communication, they have now turned to the cloud for better access from the work desk and from the mobile phone. Cloud-based communications has made it possible for employees to work from home as easily as they can from the local office. The hundreds of exhibitors at that event will discuss that new reality, and they should get a taste of what AINEO and Mitel intend to provide through the cloud.

Patrik Sorqvist, the vice president of Mitel Cloud Services, commented that the market has shown a strong demand for cloud services. He indicated that the demand will not stop in the foreseeable future, noting further that the desire for a cloud-based workplace will present opportunities for revenue growth for his own company and for AINEO. Following the coming expo, many more business officials will have a better idea of what they can gain from the Mitel-AINEO joining as it relates to their own ambition for cloud use.
