There’s a lot of exciting news to be found on the Lync Migration site this week. This week was all about coming together - whether you’re interested in learning about integrations or new appointments, Lync Migration has all the latest news. With that in mind, let’s take a look back at the past few days.

One of the biggest themes this week was integration. TMC’s Paula Bernier reported that Broadview Networks now offers new integrations with popular business applications from Google (News - Alert) and Microsoft. These integrations enable employees to get more done with less effort, according to the company. To learn more about these solutions and the impact they’ll have on employees and collaboration efforts, check out THIS ARTICLE.

On the same note, Panopto has also added a Skype (News - Alert) for Business integration. Panopto recently upgraded its platform for video content management to include support for Skype videos, allowing users to search archived Skype recordings. It automates the uploading process from not just Skype, but also other conferencing systems like GoToMeeting. This feature, along with several others, will work to make video conferencing a much easier, efficient process.  You can find all the details HERE.

It looks like Skype for Business is having a great week, as the new Cisco (News - Alert) Meeting Server has enabled the company’s meeting rooms to connect with Skype for Business users. The company indicated that The impact is that users of Cisco’s meeting rooms and those of Microsoft’s Skype for Business can connect as easily as an iPhone user can call the owner of a Samsung (News - Alert) Galaxy, or vice versa. You can read all about the benefits of this connection ability HERE.

Last, but certainly not least, Christopher Martini was just appointed to VOSS (News - Alert) Solutions as VP of Skype for Business. Martini is incredibly qualified for the position, with over 20 years of experience in communications technology with a focus on the Microsoft stack and ecosystem. There are several elements making up his resume that make him the perfect candidate for this new role. You can find all the details HERE.

While some exciting news has been highlighted here, that’s certainly not all that went on this week. Be sure to head to  Lync Migration for all the updates, and come back next week for the latest insights. Have a great weekend!
