The ability to integrate different communications solutions is required in today's multi-device/platform/channel and touch point environment. Without the integration capability, it greatly limits the number of customers companies are able to interact with. AltiGen, a provider of Microsoft-based Cloud Unified Communications (News - Alert) solutions, is avoiding this scenario with its new UC Cloud service by bringing together Hosted Skype for Business with its MaxACD Cloud Contact Center delivered as a fully managed service.
AltiGen (News - Alert) integrates Skype for Business and Office 365 with a UC cloud solution that gives SMBs and enterprises the scalability and flexibility they need for business-critical communications. This includes a fully managed UC service with enterprise cloud PBX (News - Alert) and innovative cloud contact center applications.
“With more and more organizations adopting Skype for Business to replace their proprietary PBX systems, there is a growing demand for business-critical features like advanced auto attendant along with intelligent routing and queuing capabilities. Delivered as a fully managed cloud solution, MaxACD integrated with Skype (News - Alert) for Business provides the business critical communications capabilities required to meet the needs of both SMBs and large enterprises,” said David Tang, Vice President of Cloud Solutions at AltiGen.
The new UC Cloud solution brings the instant messaging and presence, voice and video calling, desktop sharing, Web conferencing, and mobility of Skype for Business in a single integrated solution. AltiGen said it is going to make these features even more accessible with its MaxACD Contact Center, a suite of advanced routing and queuing applications natively integrated with Skype for Business and Office 365.
According to the company, UC Cloud has a value proposition for its customers that will pay off in the long run because it doesn't require any capital expenditure with AltiGen's monthly service plans. Additionally, the operational efficiency has been improved by leveraging the company's cloud infrastructure with a simplified management system that can be easily accessed through a web-based admin control panel. And because it leverages the investment its customers already have in Office 365 plans, organizations will experience increased efficiency and productivity.
Another advantage the UC Cloud platform provides is it removes the expense and complexity of an on premises deployment. When it brings in all of the options in MaxUC, organizations can access business critical phone systems with a complete enterprise class VoIP solution including hundreds of features.
The AltiGen UC Cloud is currently available in the United States with its network of Microsoft (News - Alert) certified business partners. Availability in the UK and Europe will be announced at a future date.
