A network assessment solution called IR Prognosis (News - Alert) UC Assessor is now generally available. IR, the company that provides the tool, made the announcement at Microsoft Ignite last week.
IR Prognosis UC Assessor is optimized for Microsoft Skype (News - Alert) for Business Online in Office 365 and is the first network solution certified by Microsoft for Skype for Business Online under the IT Pro Tools Partner Program. This tool aims to ensure a positive user experience of the application across LAN and WAN connections, all the way to the end application/endpoint.
The company offers two versions of IR Prognosis UC Assessor. One, called the Essentials edition, provides assessment and testing relative to current and expected network performance. A second, called Advanced edition, is for network troubleshooting and analysis of programs, and site-to-site testing for hybrid and on-premises deployments.
“Empowering employees with the latest advancements in UC technology is a key step in the digital transformation of a business, but a difficult UC deployment can get in the way of successful user adoption,” said IR CEO and Managing Director Darc Rasmussen. “When Prognosis UC Assessor is used throughout planning, deployment, migration, and ongoing operations, it provides a comprehensive, integrated, end-to-end assessment and troubleshooting solution for customers migrating to Skype for Business cloud, hybrid, and on-premises.”
INTERNET TELEPHONY and TMC earlier this year presented IR with a UC Product of the Year Award for its IR Prognosis for Unified Communications, and Gartner (News - Alert) has named IR a Cool Vendor.
Call recording assurance is among the areas IR addresses. The company’s Prognosis Call Recording Assurance delivers complete visibility, including utilization and alerting, of an entire call recording ecosystem, including the call recording applications, integration of the PBX (News - Alert) and archival environment. Prognosis can verify every call that should have been recorded has been, that it has content and that the content is audible. Supported contact center vendors include Avaya (News - Alert), Cisco and Genesys, with call recording solutions from NICE and Verint.
