The transition to an all-IP voice network gives organizations many of the tools that are needed to effectively communicate in a digital environment. Mobility, collaboration, conferencing and availability are just some of the many options IP communication provides. As a provider of converged voice solutions that help in the transition to all IP voice networks, AudioCodes (News - Alert) just had its technology certified for interoperability with Flowroute to better serve enterprise VoIP providers.
Flowroute provides communication services for SaaS (News - Alert) companies with robust performance, transparency and control so they can add voice and messaging capabilities into the products and services they offer by creating solutions with unique user experiences. With this interoperability certification, AudioCodes will be a certified member in the Flowroute Technology Partner Program, which includes some of the leading brands communications. Some of the partners are, Asterix, Barracuda, Grandstream, Mitel, Patton, Snom, Yealink and many others.
Dan Nordale (News - Alert), chief marketing officer at Flowroute, said, “The reliability of AudioCodes is unmatched in the industry. Many hosted communications providers rely on both Flowroute and AudioCodes to deliver innovative solutions to enterprises, so the investment of both companies in certification allows us to better support the success of our customers.”
The new partnership and certification will bring together AudioCodes' high-performance operation of the Mediant family of Session Border Controllers (SBC) so it can be integrated seamlessly with Flowroute's IP-based communications services.
The virtualized CPE platform for UCaaS and SIP trunk providers AudioCodes introduced earlier this year is an example of the innovative solutions the company provides. The Mediant 800B vE-CPE has advanced functionalities with a platform that combines standard Intel (News - Alert) microservers with Physical Network Functions (pNF) required for hosted business communications.
The Mediant 800B vE-CPE has integrated capabilities such as branch router and dual WAN interfaces, including support for 3G/LTE (News - Alert) along with session border controller (SBC) and media gateway for VoIP interoperability, connectivity, security and resiliency.
“The combination of AudioCodes and Flowroute give customers the innovation of the Mediant product line with the proven reliability and simplicity of Flowroute. Our certification with Flowroute provides our customers with access to reliable, enterprise-quality voice services that are easy and affordable to integrate, with excellent customer service and support for advanced routing capabilities,” said Eric Bauer, vice president of marketing and business development in North America at AudioCodes.
As more companies deliver their applications over the cloud, their SaaS platform has to have the infrastructure to ensure the delivery of these services at all times. The interoperability certification by Flowroute will give AudioCodes' customers this reliability, while at the same time making it part of a larger partnership with some of the leading vendors in their segment.
